Campground Facilities and Amenities

The all-new Steel Pony Campground.  Located 3 miles East of downtown Sturgis, SD,  this prime location is only minutes away from motorcycle rally action and the Black Hill's best free concerts and entertainment at our partner property, the world-famous Iron Horse Saloon.

Paved roadways in and out of the Steel Pony Campground keep the dust down and eliminate mud pits found at other rally campgrounds.

For camper comfort and privacy, a central bathhouse has individual showers and restroom facilities along with coin operated laundry.  Additional restroom and shower facilities are located throughout the campground for convenience.  The main bathhouse and general store are undergoing improvements and renovations, to be completed by the 2019 motorcycle rally.

Ride right up to the bar, then kick back and relax with full bar service pouring your favorite adult beverages and listen to some live music.

Our general store offers coffee, off-sale beer, snacks, grillables, water, camp supplies, toiletries, and more.  Fuel and groceries are available within walking distance of the campground entrance.
